Where To Stay
Below is a list of Hotels, Bed & Breakfasts, Hostels and Self-catering places in Sorrento. Most if not all, have been chosen for their proximity to ‘Hotel La Tonnarella’ where the reception will be held after the wedding. It is also where we will stay on the night of the 14th July.
Please note, that we are suggesting that you book somewhere to stay in Sorrento, rather than Positano. This is because although the wedding ceremony will be in Positano Town Hall, the reception which will be in the evening will be in Sorrento, and it will make more sense for you to be able to go back to a hotel near-by to the reception.
As many of you will consider arriving the night before the wedding, we suggest that you also stay in Sorrento for that night. We are organising transport to take everyone to the ceremony and back so you will not have to try to find your way to the Town Hall in Positano unless you really want to of course.
For ease of reference, the first hotel we have listed is La Tonnarella. We have also provided a map for La Tonnarella and the address. As you will see on the map, La Tonnarella is at the curve of Via Capo, right at the top, nearest to the ocean. We have also included a map for each hotel on the list – that way you can see how far each hotel/B&B/Hostel is from La Tonnarella.
The prices listed for each place are the face value prices as listed on their webpage. It may be possible to find a cheaper room at those places by booking through other sites. Some suggestions are: www.booking.com, www.venere.com, and www.hotelroom.com. You can also ask us to book you any room(s) that you like, and we would be happy to do so. The only difference would be that we cannot guarantee that we’ll be able to get you discounts.
You may not like anything that you see on the list, and if not then the websites listed above, along with www.hostelworld.com and www.hostelbookers.com will be able to give you a wider selection.

La Tonnarella

La Tonnarella is an oasis of peace set on a spur of rock in one of the most panoramic settings of Sorrento. La Tonnarella started out as a residential summer villa belonging to the Gargiulo family and has been transformed into a delightful hotel with a backdrop of blue sea still keeping its fascinating atmosphere with antique furnishing and ceramic tiles. The hotel has a small private beach with facilities where it is also possible to have lunch. It is possible to dine immersed in the nature and only a few steps from the sea.
